I went to Australia and visited several campuses along the way, including the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne, the University of Technology Sydney, UNSW Sydney, and La Trobe University. Thanks to everyone who took the time to meet and share their work!

I had three papers published at the 2026 CHI Conference in Barcelona, and presented our paper, Decoupling of Usefulness and Novelty: Evaluating the Impact of Generative AI on Design Outputs and Designers’ Creative Thinking.
I began an AI research residency at Maincode, an AI research lab in Melbourne, working remotely with the team.
I visited the Human-Centered Computing group at Aalborg University in Denmark. Thanks to Joel and Niels for the invitation — it was a wonderful city to spend time in!
I went to beautiful Madeira, Portugal for this year’s Design Interactive Systems (DIS) conference, where I presented our paper, Exploring the Collaborative Co-Creation Process with AI: A Case Study in Novice Music Production.
I began a summer research internship with the Game Intelligence group at Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK, focusing on World Models. As a Harry Potter fan during childhood, visiting the UK was a dream come true!
I went to Japan for the 2025 CHI Conference, where I presented our paper, Understanding Children’s Avatar Making in Social Online Games.
